ISMI and the Secretariat of Iran’s National Halal Charter inked an MoU to establish proper processes for developing the strategic executive infrastructures required to implement the National Halal Charter, an initiative expected to organize the value chain and institutionalize Islamic values.

According to the ISMI Public Relations, this agreement has been approved in line with advancing the strategic-executive mechanisms of the National Halal Charter at both national and international levels.

Under the framework of the agreement, ISMI is responsible for developing and expanding technological infrastructures, particularly the online halal platform, as well as collaborating on the creation of a data bank, organizing conferences and workshops, and advancing educational and research processes with an international perspective.

According to the report, the agreement was signed by Hojatoleslam Mohammad Eskandari, Deputy for Research at Marvi Seminary and Secretary of Iran's National Halal Charter, and Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, CEO of ISMI.
