According to the ISMI Public Relations Report, The first "International Congress on the Occupation of ‎Palestine in ‎view of International Law, and the Violations of IHL in Gaza" was held with the participation of 21 countries of the world in addition to accelerating the flow of awareness related to the defense of the rights of the Palestinian people, it brought positive feedback and reactions from academic centers, including receiving specialized scientific articles.

The National Humanitarian Rights Committee of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran held this international congress last March in cooperation with international scientific, academic, and intellectual institutions and centers.

This event aims to explain the legal status of the occupation of Palestine from the point of view of international law, especially emphasizing the international human and humanitarian rights governing war and armed conflict and cases of violations of the relevant principles and rules in the occupied territories, the Gaza Strip, as well as the investigation and feasibility of realizing the international criminal responsibility of the leaders and perpetrators of international crimes committed in this area, such as genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity was held.
