The Islamic Strategic Management Institute (ISMI) and Iran Council for the Development of Herbal and Traditional Medicine (CHTM), in synergy with the Inter-Islamic Network on Nano-Technology (INN), have reached an agreement to expand infrastructural and operational cooperation.

According to the ISMI Public Relations, the adoption of the academic super-application Acalearn by CHTM will form part of this new collaborative framework. The Headquarters will also launch its official page on Acalearn. This super-application is a knowledge-based achievement of ISMI, which is a member of INN and Incubator of Iran's MERC.

Another focus of the meeting was the review of executive mechanisms for expanding bilateral cooperation. Agreements were reached during discussions between Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, President of ISMI and Strategic-Executive Deputy of INN, and Dr. Damoon Razmjooei, Secretary of CHTM.

According to the report, CHTM is a strategic body affiliated with the Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and the Knowledge-Based Economy. Its mandate includes policymaking, synergy-building, and guiding projects and programs related to medicinal plants and traditional medicine. By supporting elite experts and researchers, developing infrastructure, facilitating commercialization, and strengthening the value chain, the Council plays a key role in advancing the traditional medicine economy in Iran. It also contributes to the development of modern technologies in processing, production, registration, and preservation of native species, promoting preventative health approaches, and positioning Iran as a regional leader in herbal products and services.
